Ironing out history’s creases
My dad ended up with a box of photographs at the end of World War II, almost all of them from his time in China, but there was this one crinkled up old pic of a German officer, evidently found in the dead man’s pocket. I never did find out all the circumstances.
I had a go at fixing the image with Photoshop and ended up with this. So easy to get carried away, isn’t it?

Good Job. It would be nice if someone recognized the officer and put you in touch with his family.
Well, I guess, as long as they don’t hold grudges.
